A poem

I was once a growing apple, high up in a tree.
I grew and grew and felt beautiful, high up in that tree.
I felt the seeds of life that were deep inside of me...
I grew to be beautiful for everyone to see.
I was ripe and full of life
Then one day I fell to the ground.
Birds came along and picked and picked at me, till nothing was left.
I wondered as I lay rotting on the ground, is there at least one seed left in me...
So I may grow again one day for all the world to see.

She wrote this a few hours ago... I thought it was pretty moving..
